Metal Rings for Fan Housings

Metal rings are commonly used in fan housings. They serve both as structural support and as mating flanges connecting the fan to round ductwork.  Fans can be installed to provide exhaust, intake or circulation.

Chicago Metal Rolled Products has produced thousands of metal rings for fans. The company can provide standard angle rings or "specials" usually within a day after the order is received. The rings can be made of virtually every steel section:  angles, bars, beams, channels, pipe and tube. The rings can be made of stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum or other alloys. In addition to full rings, ring segments can be provided.  Rings can be supplied welded all around, or welded only on certain sides, or not welded at all, i.e. with an open butt joint (OBJ).
